My family and I recently purchased a new home at the Jersey shore. We’re about two miles away from the ocean and downtown Manasquan– the perfect distance for biking to the beach!
We knew that we would need to get new bikes so that we could ride to the shore in style and Christmas seemed to be the perfect time to do this.
We moved about two months ago and have finally got the house in order, so new bikes were next on the list. They were the perfect Christmas gift for each other as we both have been desperately needing to upgrade our old bikes.

EvryJourney 7 Speed Hybrid Cruisers
I chose the EvryJourney 7 Speed Hybrid Cruiser in Mint Green and my husband received the EvryJourney 7 Speed in Steel Blue. The hybrid cruisers are ideal for casual rides, but can still accommodate some uneven ground and hills with the higher speed bikes.
I am honestly not an avid biker. I can count on one hand the amount of times that I have been on a bike since I was about 10 and I’m always very timid on a bicycle because of my lack of practice in the recent past. However, as soon as I sat on this bike I felt extremely confident and comfortable, like I had been riding for years!
SixThreeZero’s EvryJourney cruiser was a smooth and easy ride from start to finish. The bikes are easy to maneuver with handlebars that offer fluid motion as you turn and glide.
They have an easy step through frame for easy mounting and dismounting even for petite women like me! I always find it hard to find a bike that is low enough for my comfort, but this one was perfect once adjusted.
As I switched into a higher gear, I could feel the resistance kick in for downhill riding. The bike stopped on a dime as soon as I gently touched the brakes.

The EvryJourney bikes are available in single, 3, 7, and 21 gear options. The one that is right for you will depend on where you will be doing most of your rides.
For us, the 7 speed was most favorable because it offered a few options of gears without being bombarded by too many. Although our ride to and from the beach is pretty flat, you never know where you’ll end up.

The bikes come with a rear rack which makes for easy portability of your belongings. You can tie a backpack or bag to the rack or attach an accessory like a basket to tote the necessities.
I can’t wait to add a toddler bike seat and kid’s trailer to bring our kids along for the ride. We’ll truly be riding in style to the beach for years to come!
You will need to put the bike together, however many pieces are already attached. It took about 45 minutes to put one together with two people. The instructions are fairly straightforward, but we did get a little confused at times. All in all, the bike was assembled properly and I feel very safe riding it.
